Last Friday a friend of mine asked me to tag along with her for her job shadow on Lawrence Heibel. She used me as a model which isn't my specialty, but I got to shoot some photos of her too! Here is the beautiful Megan Tracy.

Arts ACT:ing on AIDS

My name is Alyssa Bowerman and I am a Sophomore at Cornerstone University. I am majoring in Visual Communications and thought I would like to share some of my photos. I am just getting started with my photography, but here we go! This is my first blog, and I have a great event to start!

Yesterday was World AIDs Day and a group I am involved with on campus through World Vision called ACT:s put on an event for the first time this year called: Arts ACT:ing on AIDS. We knew we needed to raise awareness on campus and we tried to think a way we could draw students in. We had a painting for students to get involved with, photography taken by students on campus, a prayer corner, live music, poetry and scripture readings. It was a neat thing for those on campus to open up their broken hearts for those in need.
